Cherry Blossom Garden and Golden Trumpet Trail at the Hong Kong International Airport
A series of landscape enhancement around the Hong Kong International Airport, including the ‘Cherry Blossom Garden’ and the ‘Golden Trumpet Trail’ below Scenic Hill, have become hot spots for citizens and tourists to enjoy the seasonal beauty. 100 Guangzhou cherry blossom trees, which is more adapted to the local subtropical climate, were planted at Chek Lap Kok South Road, and over 200 Golden Trumpet trees were planted at Kwo Lo Wan Road. As soon as the cherry blossoms past the flower season, the Golden Trumpet trees start to bloom vividly.
